Once you have followed the steps of setting up your account you can update your details, manage your addresses. Having an account helps you to speed up the ordering process and keep a track of the orders, shipments and refunds.

Pre-order is when you purchase a product before it is released in India, to ensure that you have the product before it goes out of stock and to avail the advantage of pre-order bonuses and offers.

When you pre-order any product, you authorize us to take the payment of a product in advance and deliver the product once the same is released. The products are shipped to the customer on their release. We at Games the Shop thrive to achieve release date delivery for all pre-order products.

From time to time pre order bonuses and offers are announced on various products.

In case any change or delay in the release date of a product by the publisher we will keep our customers informed about the same.

You will never be penalised for ordering early, this is our Pre-Order Price Guarantee!

If the price drops online on an item after you have placed the order, you will pay the lower price and the difference will be refunded to you. And if the price goes up on an item after you have placed the order, you will not be charged anything! 

Also if you have pre-ordered an item and the bonus/offer is announced after, you will receive the bonus/offer.

You can be assured that our trusted payment gateway partners use secure encryption technology to keep your transaction details confidential at all times.

The mode of payments available on Games The Shop are:

As per the policy, Cash on Delivery is available only on Standard edition of pre-order products. This is to facilitate our customers, and try to deliver it on the day of release.

If the money has been debited from your account, and we’ve received it then our team will confirm your order and it will be shipped to your address,

But in case we have not received it, the amount should be auto credited in your account by the payment gateway in 2-3 working days. You will have to contact your payment source, and unfortunately we will not be able to help you.

For metro cities, software games are delivered in 1-2 working days and for products like consoles and accessories etc, it takes 3-4 working days after being shipped. For non-metro cities, it may take additional 1-2 days or more depending on the location. Once your order is shipped, you will receive an SMS and E-mail to your registered mobile number and e-mail address with complete tracking details of your order which can be checked on the delivery agent website.

To view your order history follow these 2 simple steps;

  • Select ‘Orders’ under 'My Account' , all your previous and current orders are listed here.

You can check the status of an order to see if it has been shipped by logging into your account. You can further track the order after shipment, through the tracking number received by you via email and/or SMS.

To check your order status;

  • Select 'Orders' under 'My Account'
  • You will now see a full list of all your orders with their status and tracking link for shipped orders.

If you have placed a pre-order, it is possible to cancel your order by contacting our customer care at least 3-4 days before the release.

For normal orders, you can cancel your order before it is shipped by contacting helpdesk with your request . Once your order is shipped, you cannot cancel your order.

Digital orders cannot be cancelled.

After returning an item, it will take up to 7-8 working days to process the refund. In case of any issues with your order on its inspection, our customer care team will contact you for the same.

Once the refund process is initiated, the amount will be credited to you in 2-3 working days. All refunds will be refunded to the same payment method used while making the purchase. The refund details will be shared with you on your registered email address.

You will receive your Digital Code in your registered email account. If you have not received your digital download code, kindly check your Junk/Spam/Promotions tab. If you didn’t receive it, kindly mail us at digital@gamestheshop.com or helpdesk@gamestheshop.com along with your order id.

  • Add your billing and shipping address, along with the 4-digit OTP code sent to your email address.

  • Enter your Rockstar Activation Code into the field
  • The Rockstar Activation Code will then be redeemed on the account and your game will appear in under Games.

Note - Review the details at the bottom of the screen to ensure that you are activating the code on the correct Rockstar Games Social Club account. All Rockstar Activation Codes are one-time-use codes and their contents will be permanently applied the Rockstar Games Social Club account that is signed into the Rockstar Games Launcher when redeemed.

If you are having problems redeeming your code please follow these steps:

  • Check that you have entered the code correctly.
  • Make sure that you are redeeming the code on the correct platform and location.
  • The PSN voucher codes can be redeemed only on Indian PSN account.

Yes, digital codes are region locked for India.

Refunds for digital orders will not be issued to the customer once code has been delivered to him.
In certain cases (Unprocessed transactions), refund will be processed only to the same mode of payment.

Shipping Policy


We put in our best effort to deliver your products in excellent condition and in the fastest possible time. All the shipments usually get delivered within 2-3 working days from its shipment date (except during Natural Calamities, Pandemic).

Our shipping days are Monday to Saturday. This excludes public holidays/bank holidays and Sundays. Whilst we will do everything to meet the delivery timeline above, there may be factors outside of our control and we cannot guarantee delivery within this time frame (like Natural Calamities, Pandemic, etc). Our deliveries including pre-orders to non-metros and remote areas may take an additional day to reach you. You’ll always be notified about your order by Email or SMS.

If order value is less than Rs.999, additional shipping charge Rs.79/- will be applicable for physical products.

Exception : For a pre-order product less than Rs.999, packaging and shipping of Rs.79 will be charged, irrespective of total order value.

In case of the pin codes which are serviceable but categorized as “Extended Delivery Location” by our Delivery Partner, additional charges are levied by our delivery partner, which could range from INR 300 - INR 3,000 depending upon weight and delivery pin code. In such cases we will inform the customer before dispatch about the charges. If the customer chooses not to pay the charges, we would provide a refund for the ordered product(s)

Shipping charges are NOT applicable for digital products like PlayStation Store Gift Cards, PC Games, as they’re digitally delivered through email.


By pre-ordering it is taken that you intend to pre-pay the order amount and wait to receive your product.

Pre-ordered product is shipped 1 day before its release. We strive to make the preorders reach our customers on the day of release. However, the company is not liable for any sort of delay in the release date, shipment, or delivery due to delay by the publisher or supplier. Pre-order policy applies only to not-yet-released products. It does not apply to other product lines or to items that have already been released in India. Invoice for pre-ordered products will be generated only when the product is shipped.

Once ordered, requests for cancellations or replacement of orders duly placed on the website shall not be entertained. Games The Shop may refund or replace only in case of faulty and damaged software and hardware subject to the packaging and casing being returned in good condition. Faulty or damaged software, cases as well as hardware must be returned within 7 days from the date of dispatch but with a prior intimation of such via email to helpdesk@gamestheshop.com. In case of hardware every component part (cables, memory sticks, warranty card etc.) must be available for it to be accepted as a return. In case you receive incorrect product for which you haven’t ordered, it must be returned in its original packaging to us. After investigating such cases, the correct product will be dispatched. Rights reserved with Game Shop Retail Pvt. Ltd., and it may take longer duration to settle.

All refunds will be processed for the cancelled orders with 3% cancellation fee through the same mode of payment, example: If the payment of Rs.1000/- is made through Credit Card and the status is marked as cancelled, Rs.30/- will deducted as cancellation fee and the remaining amount Rs.970/- would be refunded to the credit card's account. Refund processing time is approximately 8-10 business days but also depends on the bank’s standard time frame. For non-delivered items, a refund will be processed only on confirmation that the product was not delivered to you, and you choose to take a refund and are not interested in any other product.

By pre-ordering it is taken that you intend to pre-pay up front and are ready to wait to receive the copy of the game once it is released in India.

Generally pre-ordered products are shipped a day before, on or after its day of release. However, the company is not liable for any sort of delay in the delivery/shipment of the pre-ordered goods.

Pre-order applies only to not-yet-released video games. It does not apply to other product lines or to items that have already been released. Invoices for pre-ordered products will be generated only when the product is shipped.

Pre-order applies only to items displaying the Pre-order Offer message on the product or product description page on the website.

Pre-order Offer product(s) cannot be sold separately.

During a New Generation Console launch period, stock availability may be limited, and we therefore reserve the right to release stock via the Website in waves, as it is made available to us by the manufacturer. We will notify you via the Website of each New Generation Console wave release date. You may be able to place a pre-order for a New Generation Console from the relevant wave release date (subject to availability and these terms and conditions) and such order will be shipped to you in accordance with delivery date mentioned on the product page.

You must not copy, reproduce, republish, upload, post, transmit or distribute such material in any way, including by email or other electronic means and whether directly or indirectly and you must not assist any other person to do so. Most of the products are free on shipping for customer. However Games the Shop does charge shipping charges on small value orders and in some other pre specified categories or products as and when mentioned. Pre-Ordered products are generally shipped a day before, on or after their day of release. However, it would vary from product to product. Kindly check the respective product description for more information. Product may take 2-4 business days to get delivered from the shipment date.

The items are to sell and ship only in India. We are not liable for any delay in shipping of the product as the products are shipped through third party logistics service providers. Business days exclude public holidays and Sundays. You will have to bear the shipping charges for return of any product to Games The Shop and we will not be liable for any handling charges and in-transit damages or loss of whatsoever nature.

We may transfer any contract made under these Terms to someone else. We may transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms to another organization.

Even if we delay in enforcing this contract, we can still enforce it later. If we do not insist immediately that you do anything you are required to do under these terms, or if we delay in taking steps against you in respect of your breaking this contract, that will not mean that you do not have to do those things and it will not prevent us taking steps against you at a later date.

Return & Refunds

Return Policy
We value our customers and are committed to providing quality support. When things do not go as planned, our return policies are described below.

  • We offer a right to return provided that the product has a manufacturing defect, or is damaged in transit, The product has to be in its original packaging and is sealed and all the components along with the product must be returned.
  • Faulty or damaged products must be returned within 14 days from the date of dispatch, with prior intimation. For this you can write to helpdesk@gamestheshop.com.
  • In case you have received an incorrect product which you haven’t ordered, Please ship it to us with sealed in its original packaging.
  • We will pay the costs of return if the product is damaged, in all other cases you must pay the cost of return.
  • The following items are not eligible for a return or exchange and are considered “final sale” at time of purchase: digital games, gift cards, and bundle containing digital products.
  • Games the Shop retains final authority to accept or decline any item that is eligible for return.
Refund Policy
You will receive an email containing all details on how to return the product. We process refunds within 6-7 working days after receiving the returned product. All refunds will be processed to the same payment method used while placing the order.

Refunds for digital orders will not be issued to the customer once the code has been delivered to him/her. In certain cases (Unprocessed transactions), refund will be processed to the same mode of payment. 3% cancellation charges will be deducted on refund amount.
